Tasks ##

• You will take over the system-supported administrative processing of outpatient care contributions and ensure correct payment.
• You will check the submitted services for plausibility and clarify discrepancies directly with the service providers, health insurance companies, and other offices.
• You will actively participate in the further development of the processing of care contributions and contribute to the optimization of processes as well as the specialist application ORION.
• You will advise and enable Spitex organizations as well as freelance nursing professionals regarding the billing of their services and act as a reliable contact person for various stakeholder groups.
• You will create analyses, reports, and support the team management with administrative tasks and events.

Profile ##

• Commercial apprenticeship EFZ as well as several years of professional experience, ideally in the healthcare sector
• Analytical skills, high quality standards, and good resilience
• High social competence, empathy, and a strong service mentality
• Very good German skills, both oral and written
• Proficient use of MS-Office, especially Excel

About us ##

The Städtischen Gesundheitsdienste (SGD) are a service department of the Gesundheits- und Umweltdepartement with around 250 employees, offering a variety of health services for the population of Stadt Zürich. These include the areas Stadtärztlicher Dienst (SAD), Zürich im Alter (ZiA), Public Health (PH), Spitex, and Management & Services.

The Spitex business unit is responsible for the strategic management of Spitex care in the Stadt Zürich and the contract management with three contract partners with around 1600 employees. Furthermore, this department also functions as a contact and billing office for the allocation of care contributions in the outpatient sector and maintains contact with around 450 service providers and 13 contract municipalities.
