Senior Physician Geriatrics

Permanent position Gesundheitszentren für das Alter The Geriatric Service, with its approximately 50 physicians, forms the medical service of the Gesundheitszentren für das Alter of the Stadt Zürich. Together, we ensure holistic care and treatment of the residents in various geriatric disciplines such as dementia, palliative care, rehabilitative transitional care, long-term care, and gerontopsychiatry. Tasks You will work in geriatric long-term medicine in the inpatient and rehabilitative sector. You will primarily care for patients in rehabilitative transitional care (similar to general practitioner medicine) and build sustainable, trusting relationships in the process. You will supervise and train assistant physicians. Profile You hold the specialist title in General Internal Medicine or are about to complete it You bring professional experience in geriatric medicine You possess strong empathy You have very good oral and written communication skills We offer A family-friendly position with flexible working hours in a competent, collegial, and helpful team.
