Course Instructor in Voluntary School Sports - School District Zürichberg, 5%

In free courses at their own school, children and young people from the city of Zurich can get to know sports in depth over a whole school year. For this, we are looking for qualified and motivated individuals from mid-August onwards. Tasks ## • You accompany a group of at least 12 to a maximum of 24 students, partly from different grade levels, during a lesson of 45 - 90 minutes • For this purpose, you independently plan and design a varied, age-appropriate sports program, depending on the sport • In doing so, you promote coordination, body awareness, fair play, and self-confidence among students • You are responsible for the administration of your course (initial contact with parents, checking attendance lists, submitting a report to the sports office, reporting enrollments and withdrawals of participants) • Willingness to lead a course until the end of the school year.   We are looking for qualified and motivated course instructors for the following courses from August 17, 2026: • Apparatus gymnastics (Kr.Nr. 540), every Wednesday, 14:45 - 15:45, for middle school, at Hislanden Primar school • Parkour (Kr.Nr. 539), every Thursday, 16:45 - 17:30, for lower and middle school, at Balgrist school • Parkour (Kr.Nr. 576), every Friday, 16:55 - 17:55, for upper school, at Krähbühl school Profile ## • Enthusiasm for sports and movement (e.g., as an active member of a sports club) • Training as a sports instructor or pedagogical training (e.g., PH or FaBe K) • Completed training as a youth and sports instructor or willingness to complete it • Organizational talent with a high sense of responsibility • Experience in instructing children and young people in the field of sports We offer ## • Meaningful work with children and young people • Part-time employment with the opportunity to gain teaching experience from kindergarten to secondary level • Content-related support and further training opportunities • Expansion of the scope of work up to 20 percent with permanent employment possible Apply Apply About us ## The Sports Office is a department of the School and Sports Department of the City of Zurich. It is the competence center for sports promotion and provides the sports facilities, including indoor and outdoor pools, to the sports-loving population and clubs. The organization of compulsory swimming lessons and voluntary school sports are also among the core tasks of the Sports Office. With targeted information, the Sports Office motivates people to engage in more physical activity and advises and supports sports organizations.
