Pension Specialist (70–80 percent)

For the life insurance sector, we are looking for a team- and service-oriented personality starting from 1 October 2026 or by arrangement. In this demanding function at the interface between economy and politics, you will make an important contribution to the further development of the industry.

You will actively help shape the future of Swiss life insurance.
You will take on content responsibility for current issues in life insurance and accompany the further development of the regulatory environment – especially regarding relevant revisions of laws and ordinances such as BVG, VVG and VAG.
As a central contact person, you will support the division management in strategic committee work and represent our client's positions externally.

You will network with decision-makers, coordinate positions, and thus contribute significantly to the further development of insurance in Switzerland.

Your tasks

• Processing of relevant technical and regulatory issues for life insurers
• Participation in consultations on changes to laws and ordinances and preparation of statements, motions, concepts and position papers
• Proactive processing of political initiatives, from observation to assessment to the derivation of the need for action
• Technical and organizational support of the commissions Fachthemen Leben as well as Rechtsfragen Leben (incl. preparation and follow-up of commission meetings)

Your profile

• At least 6–10 years of professional experience in the life insurance or pension fund environment, or in related financial mathematical or regulatory subject areas
• University degree in mathematics, economics, jurisprudence (with a focus on insurance or financial market law) or as a pension fund expert or comparable qualification
• Experience in dealing with complex regulatory issues as well as in the preparation of statements, concepts or position papers
• Interest in association work, political processes and the further development of the regulatory environment
• Analytical, structured and networked way of thinking as well as high conceptual skills
• High service orientation, social competence and a professional, confident appearance
• Very good communication skills and excellent written expression in German language
