Job Description

Would you like to lead demanding relocation projects and actively accompany changes in organizations?

At Drees & Sommer, as a Team Lead, you will take responsibility for demanding relocation, user coordination, and commissioning projects in various industries. From modern office worlds to operational sites and complex migration projects in healthcare, you will accompany projects from strategic planning to successful implementation. In doing so, you will lead employees professionally and personally, further develop the relocation management service area, and work closely with customers, users, construction project teams, and external partners. Together with you, we will shape your career at Drees & Sommer in Zürich.

• Leadership, coaching, and further development of employees in the relocation management team
• Development and implementation of rough to detailed planning for relocations and commissioning in different industries (office relocations, operational properties, or complex migration projects, e.g., in healthcare)
• Surveying, analysis, and documentation of user and operational requirements
• Professional management and coordination of all user groups and sub-projects involved in commissioning and relocation; communication with all involved stakeholders
• Responsibility for goal achievement as well as schedule, cost, and quality controlling of the projects
• Acquisition of new mandates as well as maintenance and expansion of existing customer relationships
• Further development of methods, standards, and services in the area of relocation management

Qualifications

• Completed studies in the field of Facility Management, Business Administration, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related areas or comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience in relocation or migration management
• Initial experience in the professional or personnel leadership of employees as well as enjoyment in their further development
• Willingness to take responsibility in demanding projects and to travel throughout Switzerland
• Strong customer orientation and interest in building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
• Confident appearance as well as strong communication and moderation skills in dealing with different stakeholders
• Business fluent German, good English and/or further language skills are an advantage
