Tech. Employee Electrical / Electrical Fitter / Service Technician To reinforce our electrical maintenance team, we are looking for a motivated electrical fitter / service technician starting 1. September 2026 or by arrangement. Tech. Employee Electrical / Electrical Fitter / Service Technician Schutz & Rettung Zürich (SRZ) combines, as a service department of the Security Department, the professional and militia fire brigade, medical services, and the emergency dispatch center (ELZ) for the emergency numbers 144 and 118. Furthermore, civil protection, fire police, and a training center with the attached Higher Professional School for Rescue Professions (HFRB) belong to the largest civilian rescue organization in Switzerland. Intervention and prevention units protect and rescue people, animals, assets, and the environment around the clock in the city of Zürich, at Zürich airport, and in the agglomeration. Tasks You ensure the reliable operation of the siren systems of the city of Zürich and undertake their maintenance as well as all installation work. You plan, organize, and coordinate the annual siren tests and ensure their smooth execution. You monitor, maintain, and renew technical facilities, including through the replacement of electrical components. You carry out repairs and realize new installations in the area of low and low voltage in the protection buildings of ZSO as well as in the protection rooms of SRZ. Profile Completed vocational training (EFZ) as an electrical installer. Several years of professional experience in the electrical industry as well as good user knowledge of the MS Office suite. Operating electrician permit according to NIV Art. 13. Driver's license category B. Proficient German skills in speaking and writing.
