Relief Staff Medical Service (MPA, FaGe or Dipl. Nursing Professional) 40 - 100% # Justizvollzug und Wiedereingliederung (JuWe) is, as part of the Directorate of Justice and Home Affairs of the Canton of Zürich, responsible for the execution of sentences and measures as well as the implementation of the various types of detention. For our 1'400 employees from around 40 professions, the successful social reintegration of convicted persons and the prevention of recidivism are of particular importance. The Medical Service is one of eight main departments of JuWe and is responsible as a central organization for the medical-somatic basic care of all incarcerated persons in the institutions of the Canton of Zürich. With around 90 employees, it ensures medical care from initial assessment through treatments to emergency care and accompanies incarcerated persons in everyday life with health-related questions. To strengthen our Medical Service, we are looking for flexible personalities to work as relief staff with a fixed workload and working days by arrangement - for assignments in various prisons in the Canton of Zürich. This is your area of impact ### • You work as an MPA, FaGe or dipl. nurse in the various facilities. • You take on assignments for holiday replacements, longer absences, as well as to provide support during bottlenecks and high workloads, also for administrative tasks such as performance recording • You are prepared to change your place of work on short notice and bring the necessary flexibility for changing assignment locations • You work closely with various professional groups in the prison and quickly adapt to new working environments • Depending on your professional profile, you take on medical, nursing or administrative tasks and contribute to a smooth daily work routine This is what you bring with you ### • You are a dipl. nursing professional HF/DN II, Fachfrau/Fachmann Gesundheit EFZ or Medical Practice Assistant / Medical Practice Assistant EFZ • You work independently, responsibly and appreciate a varied daily work routine • You quickly find your way in new working environments and encounter different people and situations with openness • You are flexible and prepared to be deployed at different locations in the Canton of Zürich • A category B driver's license as well as your own vehicle is an advantage • In addition to very good German skills, further language skills are an advantage • You are at least 25 years old and have an impeccable record What you receive from us ### • A varied activity with assignments at different locations of the Medical Service • A motivated and interprofessional team • A wide range of work-related training and further education in theory and practice • A fair and attractive employment package How to apply ### We look forward to applicants with a lot of initiative, openness, humor and joy in working in a dynamic operation.
