Job description Set up job subscription   Underwriter Market Development SME (w/m/d) # Insurance Directorate / Zurich / Professionals / Unlimited / 80% - 100% What to expect from us ## The Brokerage Business Directorate in Zurich-Oerlikon is responsible as a market development unit of Mobiliar for the partnership-based cooperation with professional brokers. In our SME Market Development department, we are looking for an experienced Underwriter for SME insurance. What you will achieve with us ## As an Underwriter for SMEs, you will independently process requests from brokers in the industries of property, liability, and technical insurance, as well as guarantee insurance. In this role, you will develop coverage concepts, create offers, rehabilitation proposals, and independently sign risks within your competencies. You will make risk-adequate underwriting decisions, coordinate cooperation with your assigned brokers, and ensure efficient and customer-oriented processing of business cases. You will conduct negotiations with brokers and inform them about new product developments. Through high service quality and willingness to serve brokers, you will make a direct contribution to the company's success.   What you bring ## • Completed insurance training with further education at the specialist certificate level • Several years of experience and in-depth knowledge in underwriting and in the industries of property and liability insurance • Initiative and communicative personality, convincing through negotiation skills and assertiveness • Open, reliable, and customer-oriented way of working • Resilient, team- and customer-oriented personality • Native language German, any additional language is a plus What we offer ## Your place of work is Zurich-Oerlikon and the workload is 80 - 100%.
