This is being developed in close cooperation with the university partners for further master's education (Universität Basel, Universität Zürich and Università della Svizzera italiana). We are looking for a reinforcement of the project team as soon as possible for a employee:in Communication & Event Organization (junior level). Job description ## The position includes the varied areas of communication and events in the medicine project team, affiliated with and in close cooperation with the communication office of the Department of Health Sciences and Technology (D-HEST). The focus is on online communication channels and includes text work, the development and expansion of the social media presence, as well as the maintenance and care of the various websites related to medical topics at ETH Zürich. Support in the conception and design of digital media, graphics and video material is also part of your exciting area of responsibility. In close consultation with the entire team, you will also help with event planning and implementation. This not only affects events related to the Human Medicine degree program, but also other events with a medical reference: from the graduation ceremony of our bachelor students to specialist conferences, panel discussions and workshops for lecturers, our activities in the area of live communication are very diverse. You can expect a very varied field of activity, in which you will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders. The position can ideally be taken up on 1 September 2026 or by agreement with a 70% workload. Profile ## You have a university degree in communication/event management or have completed corresponding further training in this area. You are interested in medical topics, have communicative skills and good organizational skills. In addition, you have good CRM and CMS knowledge and are familiar with common social media networks. Ideally, you have InDesign/Photoshop user knowledge. You are characterized by independent and self-responsible work. You act flexibly and with appropriate pragmatism. A very varied activity, in which tasks that arise are characterized by short-termism and can be subject to spontaneous changes, suits you. Based on your very good social skills, you cultivate a service-oriented way of working and enjoy working in a team. You communicate not only in German but also in English very well and appropriately.
