For our client, we are looking for a service technician with a committed personality and a technical background who enjoys bringing sophisticated systems to life, directly on-site at the customer.

Your Task ##

• Service assignments at the customer's site: Carrying out commissioning, maintenance work, error analyses, and repairs on modern measuring, testing, and inspection systems (e.g., control and precision scales, metal detectors, X-ray testing systems)
• Technical training and instructions: Preparation and implementation of practical user training for operators and maintenance personnel
• Interface between technology and sales: Supporting colleagues in technical support as well as in field sales through technical know-how and customer feedback
• Documentation & quality assurance: Creation of service reports, certificates, and technical documentation for traceability and quality assurance
• Customer care with foresight: Building, maintaining, and developing long-term customer relationships through competent advice and reliable service

Your Profile ##

• Completed basic training in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, or automation technology (e.g., Automatiker/in EFZ, Elektroinstallateur/in EFZ, Elektroniker/in EFZ or comparable)
• Experience in dealing with PC-based controls and network technologies
• Very good German skills, basic knowledge of English and/or French desirable
• Independent, solution-oriented way of working and a high degree of customer orientation
• Residence in Switzerland (ideally Zurich region), driving license category B and willingness to travel in the field (occasionally also international)
• Commitment, flexibility, and entrepreneurial thinking round off your profile
