Our IT team of five people works as an internal service provider in close collaboration with all departments and participates actively, both on a technical, human and organizational level. It thus ensures that the 143 employees can work without a hitch - and that SCS can continue to successfully develop technologies at the service of people.

Your tasks

We are looking for a senior systems engineer specialized in Linux and infrastructure, who will complement and lead our IT team. You will convince us with your technical expertise and your team spirit. Your preferred areas are as follows:

• Technical: maintenance and development of Linux servers, network and virtualization
• Organizational: participation in the design of the ISMS
• Strategic: strategic planning of the IT infrastructure

What you bring

You are proficient in Linux and Ansible, but are not afraid of Windows. Network management and virtualization with Proxmox do not scare you either. You wish to lead by example for our IT team in a DevOps approach and transmit your knowledge and experience. You participate in the ISMS team and help to design processes and directives so that they do not become mere formalities, but a safe and suitable working framework.

Your technological daily life is very varied and that is precisely what you like. You are in contact with various technologies: OpenSearch, vector.dev, Checkmk, OpenID Connect, Radius, Kerberos, OPNsense, Wi-Fi, Proxmox, Ansible, Python as well as PowerShell.
