Tasks

• In this function, acting as the client and general project manager, you will lead challenging, coordinated infrastructure projects primarily in the phases of submission, execution project, construction management, and commissioning. You are responsible for the operational planning, management (including schedule and cost control), steering, and technical support of exciting projects.
• You conduct negotiations with internal and external administrative stakeholders and committees, coordinate the involved utilities/departments, and develop sophisticated solutions to problems.
• You are responsible for submissions, evaluations, and the awarding of engineering and master builder services.
• You carry out legal proceedings, perform sovereign tasks, and conduct public information events as part of the project work.
• You prepare decision-making bases for superior bodies and process parliamentary matters.

Profile

• University degree as a Civil Engineer* (ETH/FH)
• Several years of professional experience in civil engineering and in the project management of demanding infrastructure projects in an urban environment (experience regarding special foundation engineering or trenchless methods is an advantage), both in execution design and in construction management or construction leadership
• Assertiveness and conflict resolution skills, negotiation skills, and entrepreneurial action, as well as interest and understanding of politics and administration
• Proficient German in speaking and writing, strong communication skills, as well as enjoyment of negotiating and cooperating with different interest groups
• Interest in project implementation in the sense of digital planning, building, and operating, experience in implementation with BIM methodology is an advantage
