The childcare business unit of the Social Institutions and Operations operates 11 Kitas, a crisis intervention and a residential group for toddlers, a family meeting point, and at two locations "supervised visitation offers" for families in conflictive separation situations in the City of Zurich. The Kita Selnau offers 31 Kita childcare places, incl. two places for children with special care requirements. It is divided into 3 groups (2 mixed-age, 1 infant group), which are located spatially next to each other and are operationally connected. The Kita Selnau is looking for motivated and dedicated specialists as of 1 January 2027. Childcare Specialist EFZ ## 50 % Tasks • You design a differentiated pedagogical everyday life based on pedagogical concepts, such as the situational approach and the BULG educational concept, which starts with the strengths of the children and puts the needs and interests of the children at the center. • You participate in the evaluation and reflection of the pedagogical everyday life as part of quality development. • You work closely with parents and other specialists. • You independently take over delegated tasks, such as settling-in processes, targeted observations, and organizing parents' evenings. Profile • A completed training as Fachperson Betreuung EFZ, specialization childcare • Interest in education-oriented Kita pedagogy (BULG, situational approach, Pikler) • Personal maturity, resilience, and good organizational skills • Administrative and organizational skills as well as good PC skills We offer A demanding, varied challenge in a dynamic and pedagogically oriented environment in which you can put the work with the children at the center.
