Architect Epic 80-100%

As part of the zKIS/EPIC program, you will actively help shape the introduction of a new clinical information system at Universitätsspital Zürich. The project is one of the central digitalization initiatives of the USZ and contributes to unifying clinical processes, improving collaboration, and sustainably supporting the daily work of employees. In doing so, a dynamic environment with high impact awaits you, in which you actively shape, take responsibility, and realize a future-oriented solution for the USZ together with an interdisciplinary team. Your main tasks

• You ensure that all technical and specialist aspects combine into a consistent overall solution in the Epic system
• You are responsible for the overall architectural view and ensure that systems, processes, and data models fit together
• You work closely with various areas in the project as well as IT (e.g., interfaces, devices, migration, BI, infrastructure)
• You support the team in implementing end-to-end and integrated processes
• You ensure clean data and system architecture and accompany its further development
• You support testing and the introduction of suitable test concepts and tools
• You identify technical and conceptual risks at an early stage and contribute to finding solutions in the project

Your profile

• You have extensive experience in architectural topics, especially in the areas of data, interfaces, and system integration
• You think pragmatically and holistically and can connect complex technical and specialist contexts
• You are prepared to delve deeply into new topics and participate beyond your own core competence
• You work in a solution-oriented, creative manner and maintain an overview even in complex situations
• You have no hesitation at the interface between specialist departments, IT, and infrastructure
• You communicate clearly and bring strong consulting and mediation skills
• You are resilient and can work in a structured manner even under high project complexity
