For our department of Adults with Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD/EMAH), we are looking for a clinically experienced and scientifically proven leadership personality with high professional expertise, strategic vision, and enthusiasm for university medicine. Our over 8'600 employees and around 700 trainees commit themselves daily to the well-being of our patients. ### Your tasks Clinical responsibility • Responsibility for the outpatient and inpatient care of adults with congenital heart disease (ACHD/EMAH) • Comprehensive clinical-cardiological activity with a personal professional focus, for example in cardiovascular imaging, interventional cardiology, or other ACHD/EMAH-related specialty areas such as aortopathies or high-risk pregnancies • Close interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration within the university environment Research & teaching • Training, supervision, and promotion of assistant physicians as well as fellows of the ACHD/EMAH department • Active engagement in clinical and/or translational research • Building and maintaining scientific collaborations as well as successful acquisition of third-party funds Your profile • Specialist title for Cardiology (FMH) or an equivalent European recognition • MEBEKO recognition with a foreign diploma • Doctorate (Dr. med.) as well as an additional academic record of achievement, for example Habilitation, PhD, MBA, or the qualification as a Clinical Lecturer • Several years of clinical experience at a certified ACHD/EMAH center • Additional specialization or fellowship in the field of ACHD/EMAH • Proven expertise in congenital echocardiography and/or other specialized ACHD/EMAH fields • Strong social competence, leadership experience, and interest in the academic development of the field • Very good German language skills at level C1 or higher in speaking and writing Our benefits We look forward to your application Delil Taycimen Recruiting About the USZ The Universitätsspital Zürich is one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland.
