Midwife or Nursing Specialist as Breastfeeding and Lactation Consultant for the Clinic for Obstetrics 50-100%

In this role, you accompany families in a sensitive phase of life and actively strengthen breastfeeding and health promotion at USZ. Together with a multiprofessional team, you will further shape consultation, development, and quality in breastfeeding consultancy. The Universitätsspital Zürich is one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland. Our over 8'600 employees and around 700 trainees commit themselves daily to the well-being of our patients. ### Your tasks • Family-centered consultation for pregnant women and mothers regarding the topic of breastfeeding and newborn nutrition • Independent and structured daily organization both in outpatient clinics and in the inpatient area • Support and promotion of the obstetrical teams regarding professional concerns through specialist inputs and coaching • Participation in professional development and in defined studies • Continuous further development of the position in cooperation with the midwifery expert, the department management, and the persons responsible for education Your profile • Training as a midwife or nursing specialist FH / HF. Ideally, you have further training as a Breastfeeding and Lactation Consultant IBCLC or a CAS Breastfeeding & Lactation Consultancy.
