A dynamically growing animal clinic with a broad specialty is seeking reinforcement that brings joy in demanding veterinary medicine and teamwork. In Zürich, we are looking for a veterinary medical practice assistant or a veterinary medical practice assistant EFZ with a workload of 80 – 100 % immediately or by agreement. In a modern, well-equipped animal clinic led by several diploma holders and specialists from various veterinary medical fields, you can expect a varied range of tasks with direct specialist exchange and many opportunities for further education.

This is what you can expect from this responsible task

• You receive, care for, and advise animal owners by phone and in person, and take over appointment planning and customer file maintenance
• You assist in the office hours and support operations, including anesthesia monitoring and post-operative care
• You independently collect and process laboratory samples and participate in X-ray and ultrasound examinations
• You maintain and sterilize surgical instruments and ensure cleaning, inventory management, and food orders
• You support in emergencies and take over the billing of services and medications

This is what you bring

• Completed training as a veterinary medical practice assistant EFZ or veterinary medical practice assistant EFZ
• Experience in a small animal practice or clinic is an advantage
• Very good German language skills in word and writing (at least level B2)
• Enjoy working with animals and people
