Project Architect (80-100%)

Hosoya Schaefer Architects is an internationally active architecture and urban design office with its headquarters in Zürich and another location in Japan. Since our founding in 2003, we have been creating holistic solutions for demanding planning and construction projects that cover all scales—from the design of individual pieces of furniture to the development of entire urban quarters—by combining urban design and architectural expertise. Our work includes the accompanying consultation of our clients and the coordination of all stakeholders across all planning phases.   In an industrial loft larger than 700 m² in the city of Zürich, our international team works in an atmosphere characterized by creativity and innovation. In addition to our practical activity, we are also academically engaged and contribute our expertise to teaching and research to actively help shape the future of architecture and urban design.   Your Role • Collaboration on demanding architectural projects with a focus on execution planning • Development and detailing of architectural solutions with high design and constructive standards • Creation of planning material in ArchiCAD • Coordination with specialist planners as well as support for the project management • Collaboration on area determinations, schedule planning, and cost coordination Your Profile • Completed architecture studies (ETH/FH or equivalent) • At least 2 years of professional experience in the planning and execution of construction projects in Switzerland • Experience in execution planning, ideally in residential construction • Good knowledge of Swiss standards, building laws, and planning processes • Very good ArchiCAD knowledge (2D/3D) • Business fluent German skills in speaking and writing (at least C1) • Independent, structured, and team-oriented way of working as well as a high awareness of quality Your Benefits • Collaboration on significant projects with public relevance and high architectural standards • An international, interdisciplinary team in an inspiring loft in Zürich • An open, respectful office culture with mutual support • Joint office events and excursions Your Application We look forward to receiving your complete application documents (CV, certificates, and work samples, max. 6 MB) with the subject -Projektarchitekt Architektur- to job@hosoyaschaefer.com.
