For Business Development in Asset Management, we are looking for a highly motivated and versatile leadership personality with a strong interest in Asset Management. As Head of Business Development, you will support the Head of Asset Management in strategic questions and projects and be the central point of contact for the various areas inside and outside of Asset Management. Your tasks

• Strategic sparring partner of the Head of Asset Management
• Responsibility for Business Development including leadership of a small team
• Management of strategy and objective-setting processes including KPIs, budget planning and close cooperation with financial controlling
• Leadership of central strategic initiatives and cross-divisional projects (e.g., growth, efficiency, new business models, influence of AI)
• Conception and quality assurance of management and committee documents as well as presentations at the General Management and Board of Directors level
• Creation of market, competitive and profitability analyses as well as business cases for new topics
• Chief-of-Staff role: prioritization, agenda-setting and ensuring efficient decision-making processes in the management team, as well as business risk management topics

Your profile

• University degree (BWL, VWL, Finance or similar)
• Several years of experience in Asset Management, in strategy consulting or in a comparable function in the financial sector
• Very good understanding of the asset management value chain and regulatory frameworks
• Experience in managing complex projects/programs
• Strong analytical-conceptual skills, high affinity for numbers and routine in documents suitable for GL/VR
• High degree of initiative as well as strong sense of responsibility and quality
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
• High social competence and a confident appearance towards senior stakeholders
