Project Manager: Institute Directorate 60-100%

The Institute for Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine (IFA) of the Universitätsspital Zürich is among the largest university anesthesiology centers in Switzerland. The institute is responsible for all anesthesia procedures during outpatient and inpatient operative as well as diagnostic interventions and ensures comprehensive perioperative care. For the staff function reporting directly to the Institute Director, we are looking for a committed personality with an interest in project management, organizational development, and strategic cooperation. In this versatile role, you will actively help shape change processes and gain exciting insights into the leadership of a leading university institute. Our over 8'600 employees and around 700 trainees are dedicated daily to the well-being of our patients. ### Your main tasks In this versatile function, you will work closely with the Institute Director and support her administratively in strategic, organizational, and operational issues. In doing so, you will take responsibility for projects, analyses, and thus the further development of the institute. • supports the Institute Director administratively and operationally in strategic, conceptual, and administrative leadership tasks, particularly in the areas of reporting, data management, communication, web presence, as well as the organization of events and continuing education, • coordinates and accompanies strategic projects as well as change processes and leads sub-projects independently, • prepares decision-making bases for the Institute Directorate and creates analyses as well as evaluations of performance, quality, and organizational data, • designs and analyzes surveys and employee questionnaires, • coordinates institute-internal communication and organizational processes and works closely with internal and external stakeholders in the process, • supports the implementation of strategic initiatives and contributes actively to the further development and future shaping of the institute. Your profile • a university degree (Master or Doctorate) in psychology, business administration, health sciences, natural sciences, or a comparable field, • pronounced analytical skills as well as experience in dealing with data and statistical evaluations, • experience in project management, acquired through training, further education, or successfully implemented projects, • ideally two to three years of professional experience in a scientific, project-related, or comparable function at a university, a university hospital, or another health institution, • proficient German skills (C2) as well as very good English skills (at least C1), • excellent MS Office skills; knowledge of statistics, data analysis, or visualization tools is an advantage. You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner, take responsibility, think in networks, and convince through initiative, organizational skill, and target-group-oriented communication.
