• 11 July 2026 • 30 - 35% • Indefinite duration • Zürich The Bachelor of Arts in Art Education (BAE) is an attractive foundational training for various teaching and mediation activities in the context of artistic and cultural education. Students are prepared for an initial professional degree in different practical fields of Art Education or for a master's (for example, a master's with a teaching diploma in visual arts at the secondary II level). The curriculum offers a comprehensive program of compulsory and elective courses, focused on learning and development processes in artistic pedagogy and aesthetic and cultural education. To complete our teaching team in the BAE, we are looking for, from 1 November 2026 or by agreement, a (m/f/d) Lecturer for the development of creative skills (30 - 35%) # in the field of temporal media such as film and animation with a focus on analog processes The call is addressed to filmmakers and artists whose primary practice is the creation of analog films (animation: drawing, collage, stop-motion, pixilation). The portfolio demonstrates, through personal projects, a marked interest in fictional and/or documentary narrative forms as well as in narrative strategies as an artistic practice in the treatment of image, movement, and time. We are looking for an enthusiastic person capable of working in a team, holding a master's degree in one of the mentioned fields, who manifests a profound interest in educational processes and practices and who can reflect upon and transmit film creation as a cultural and educational practice in the context of everyday and youth culture. You possess excellent skills in analog processes and modes of expression as well as the university didactic prerequisites to plan, structure, and realize courses. In the Bachelor Art Education, teaching offers are generally developed and implemented in a team, so experience in interdisciplinary collaboration is required. Courses take place every week in a cursive manner and in the form of quarterly projects. Participation in team meetings, internal training, and other program-specific events is included in the employment. As a lecturer, you will actively contribute to shaping the teaching offers and thus make a valuable contribution to the development of the training.
