Head of Gastronomy

The company combines various gastronomy concepts and a versatile range of events under one roof. In this position, you will take overall responsibility for the gastronomy and event area including and combine operational leadership with business thinking and a high service orientation. Head of Gastronomy ### #### Tasks & Challenges • Leadership, promotion and further development of the direct management team and the approximately 20-30 employees in the gastronomy and event area • Responsibility for the planning and organization of smooth daily business in all restaurant and event areas • Responsible for economical purchasing as well as efficient goods management in the F&B area • Expansion of the strategic event area and new event ideas • Further development of processes, quality standards and internal procedures • Establishment and maintenance of meaningful controlling for the entire gastronomy and event area • Responsibility for compliance with budget specifications and departmental goals • Optimization of the offering with regard to service quality, economic efficiency, innovation and personnel deployment • Close cooperation with the various internal departments to ensure smooth operations Qualifications & Competencies • Completed training in the hotel industry, gastronomy or in the event area as well as several years of professional experience in a comparable function • Experience in purchasing, especially in the beverage area • Sound knowledge in business organization, quality management as well as in handling common MS Office applications • Several years of leadership experience as well as the ability to lead and develop employees in a goal-oriented manner • Organizational talent, entrepreneurial thinking as well as an independent and structured way of working • Resilient, service-oriented personality with a confident appearance and a pronounced host mentality • Very good German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form Chances & Perspectives A versatile leadership function with a large area of responsibility awaits you.
