Intern International Programs, 100% (m/f/d)

In this varied position, you will receive comprehensive insights into the international program work of UNICEF and support the development and preparation of programs for various donors.

You will specifically take on:

• Support for program managers in the creation and preparation of various program documents for different funders (drafting pitch documents, development and preparation of project proposals, evaluation and preparation of program and progress reports)
• Independent research and professional preparation of documents, briefings, and presentations on central UNICEF topics (survival, education, child protection, WASH, climate, social protection)
• Administrative support, in particular the maintenance and updating of databases as well as documentation tasks
• Step-by-step assumption of direct communication with UNICEF country offices to obtain program-related information, updates, and technical inputs
• Step-by-step assumption of your own, clearly defined area of work and programs, depending on experience and development during the internship

For this task, you bring the following:

• Completed Master's degree or shortly before graduation in international relations, international cooperation, social sciences, political science, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and a strong interest in international cooperation as well as humanitarian topics
• Experience in research and in the understandable preparation of complex information
• Strong organizational skills, as well as a structured and reliable way of working, with which you maintain an overview even with several parallel tasks and drive tasks forward independently
• Intercultural competence and enjoyment of working with international partners and teams
• Very good written expression in German and English, French language skills are an advantage
