Oncology Diagnostic Laboratory, Molecular Genetic Diagnostics Department Your tasks • You can expect varied work in a medical, accredited environment with a focus on molecular genetic examinations, primarily for leukemia patients, in a dedicated team with open communication. • You work with patient samples (bone marrow/ blood/ tissue) and isolate gDNA and RNA. • You perform instrumental analysis (qualitative and quantitative PCR analyses, creation of DNA libraries for NGS and aCGH) independently. • You share responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment. • You are involved in the validation and qualification of processes and devices. • Your tasks include shared responsibility for performing internal and external quality controls. • You undertake the logging and documentation of all your work steps and patient data according to BAG/SRK guidelines. • You are willing to provide support for on-call service on Saturdays. Your profile • Training as a certified Biomedical Analyst (BMA) HF or equivalent training • Ideally 1-2 years of work experience in a diagnostic laboratory environment • Theoretical and practical knowledge of molecular biological techniques • IT knowledge (handling of laboratory analysis systems and MS Office programs) • Good German and English skills • Team-oriented, flexible, and resilient personality • Good communication skills • Independent and responsible way of working Your salary ## Your gross salary for a 100% workload is expected to be between 77,000 and 87,000 Swiss Francs per year. The exact level of salary depends on your training and professional experience. During the selection process, we will determine your salary based on our salary guidelines. Applicants who do not yet possess the required knowledge or experience may, in individual cases, also be classified below the salary range.
