September or by arrangement Do you want to advocate for fair working conditions and inspire people for the trade union movement? Then we look forward to getting to know you. What awaits you You will look after our members in the Zürich/Eastern Switzerland region with a focus on the Canton of Zürich. In doing so, you will be active within the Post Group in the areas of Logistics Services, PostNetz, PostFinance, as well as KEP & Mail, and with private providers. With your persuasiveness and organizational talent, you will win new members and inspire people from our industries for the trade union movement. You will organize employees in companies and, together with shop stewards, staff representations, and members, build strong trade union networks. You move confidently in a diverse environment, work together with people of different backgrounds, and communicate at eye level. You recognize concerns and conflicts early on, bring people together, and strengthen collective commitment to good working conditions and effective interest representation. You advise members and staff representations on labor law issues and accompany collective conflicts. You implement trade union projects, campaigns, and actions in your area of responsibility, thereby actively contributing to the strengthening of our organization. What you bring with you Completed vocational training as well as several years of professional experience, ideally in trade union work, interest representation, or in the NPO/NGO sector. Strong organizational and communication skills as well as an independent and proactive way of working. Readiness to actively place member recruitment at the center of your activity. High social competence, teamwork skills, and negotiation skills. Interest in labor law, social policy, and trade union topics. Very good German skills in speaking and writing (at least level C1), further language skills are an advantage. Driver's license category B. Readiness for occasional assignments in the evening or on weekends.
