The Palliative Care Competence Center of the Universitätsspital Zürich specializes in the comprehensive treatment and care of adults with advanced, incurable diseases such as cancer or other serious illnesses. We treat and accompany people whose medical and psychosocial situation makes more intensive support necessary. The Universitätsspital Zürich is one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland. Our over 8'600 employees and around 700 trainees are committed daily to the well-being of our patients. ### Your main tasks • Holistic care of our inpatient patients on an 8-bed ward • Close and collegial cooperation in an interdisciplinary, multiprofessional team • Joint design of patient-oriented and high-quality treatment Your profile • We are looking for an assistant physician in specialist training, preferably in Internal Medicine, Oncology or Radiation Oncology, with an interest in Palliative Care. The position is also open to candidates from other specialist areas who are enthusiastic about Palliative Care. • Teamwork skills, ability to integrate and enjoyment of interprofessional cooperation are important prerequisites for optimal and holistic care of our patients. • Participation in clinical research programs offers the opportunity to also contribute scientifically and develop further.
