With us, you will take overall responsibility for finance and accounting and make a decisive contribution to the successful management of our company. With your expertise, you will ensure regulatory reporting, develop meaningful analyses, and support management as a competent sparring partner in financial and strategic matters.

For our location at Sihlquai in Zürich, we are looking for an innovative personality as

Head of Finance 80-100% (m,f,d)

Your tasks

• Functional and personnel leadership as well as further development of our finance team of

2 employees

• Ensuring quarterly and annual financial statements according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER including annual reports
• Preparation of financial reporting including cost accounting and key figures (operating accounting)
• Preparation of regulatory reports (EHP data reporting, SST, Public Disclosure)
• Responsibility for budgeting, forecasts, liquidity planning, as well as rolling financial planning
• Monitoring of assets as well as ensuring tied-up assets
• Responsibility for liquidity management
• Support of yield-generating properties together with the external real estate management
• Responsibility for taxes and contact person for tax authorities
• Participation in payroll payments

What you bring with you

• Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Finance and Accounting or an equivalent higher education qualification
• Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in the finance and accounting of an SME, ideally with leadership or management responsibility
• Sound knowledge in all areas of responsibility, especially in accounting, controlling, regulatory reporting, and liquidity management
• High affinity for numbers and a precise, structured, and reliable way of working
• Strong analytical skills and the competence to reduce complex issues to the essentials
• Entrepreneurial thinking as well as the ability to advise management competently and in a solution-oriented manner
• High IT affinity and very good user knowledge in Microsoft 365, especially Excel
• Experience with Abacus, Winsure, Qlik, and GRC-tool is an advantage
• Proficient German skills in speaking and writing, other language skills are welcome
