Gastroenterology Your tasks • You will take over the medical and administrative management of the Department of Gastroenterology and Nutrition and lead a team of senior physicians, fellows, assistant physicians, and nutrition consultants. • Together with the team, you will cover the entire specialized and highly specialized gastroenterological diagnostics and therapy according to the service mandate of the Health Directorate, in addition to basic gastroenterological care. • You will maintain close cooperation with other pediatric subspecialties, visceral surgery, anesthesia, and the intensive care unit. • You will represent gastroenterology professionally and organizationally both internally and externally. • You are responsible for university teaching and research in the field of gastroenterology and nutrition as well as for the further training of fellows. Your profile • Medical degree and specialist diploma in pediatrics and adolescent medicine as well as a specialized title in pediatric gastroenterology or equivalent • Research credentials with your own gastroenterological focus and habilitation • Proven clinical competence and leadership experience in the entire field of gastroenterology and hepatology as well as proven expertise in nutrition • Interest in education, further training, and continuing education as well as student teaching Your salary ## At a 100% workload, your gross salary is expected to be between 235'000 and 245'000 Franken per year. The exact salary amount depends on your education and professional experience. During the selection process, we will determine your salary based on our salary guidelines. Applicants who do not yet have the required knowledge or experience may, in individual cases, also be classified below the salary range.
