Senior Governance & Assurance Specialist Life & Pensions (m/f/d) 80-100% Do you want to actively help shape assurance and governance activities in the Life & Pensions area and thus make an important contribution to stable, effective and regulatorily compliant processes? In this role, you strengthen the 1st Line of Defence in the Life business unit, identify risks early on and support the specialist departments in effectively implementing internal as well as external requirements. You ensure the implementation of internal guidelines, Group Policies and regulatory requirements. You support specialist departments in the interpretation of requirements and the definition of appropriate controls. You identify, assess and address operational risks in the Life business. You create management reportings, monitor action plans and participate in governance bodies. What you bring Degree from a university/university of applied sciences or further training in the insurance industry. Several years of professional experience in the insurance industry, ideally in the Life area. Experience in risk and control management, assurance, ICS, audit, governance or compliance. Very good understanding of processes, products and regulatory requirements in the life insurance business. Very good German skills as well as good English skills; other national languages are a plus.
