FINMA supervises the Swiss financial market. It protects the interests of investors, creditors, and policyholders and contributes to the stability and competitiveness of financial market participants through its supervision. For this purpose, over 800 competent and motivated employees are engaged daily.

In the Integrated Risk Expertise business area, we offer you a position as

Main tasks

• Monitoring of operational risk management and ensuring operational resilience among supervised entities
• Conducting on-site controls at banks and insurance companies
• Definition of the audit strategy and evaluation of audit reporting
• Further development of the supervisory concept for monitoring operational resilience
• Monitoring the calculation of own funds requirements for operational risks
• Participation in national and international working groups and committees

Profile

• University degree in economics or business administration, preferably with a financial economics supplement
• In-depth experience (5–7 years) in operational risk management, preferably in the financial industry
• Experience with analytical and independent work in complex and time-critical situations
• Convincing and professional appearance in dialogue with supervised entities, even in controversial discussions
• Very good German or French skills (C2) as well as good knowledge of the respective other language (B2) and very good English skills (C1)
