Transport Logistician

1.) Job Description The Transport Logistician operates the transit warehouse/sorting center and, using the delivered luggage shipments, assembles transport units for the stations to be supplied; the luggage shipments are loaded onto or unloaded from trains or road vehicles. • Loads / Unloads goods from the rail logistics departments and road transport vehicles on schedule. • Executes orders with road vehicles on schedule. Depending on the order, with direct customer contact. • Continuously optimizes the compaction of the available material. • Ensures quality assurance and safety specifications are met at all times when using means of transport. • Sorts the goods and prepares them in the corresponding zones. • Knows the occupational safety regulations, complies with them, and thereby endangers neither themselves nor others. • Independently ensures the correct forwarding of the goods.
