There is no such thing as 'the' family. But there is the center for families: Heizenholz.

Das Wohn- und Tageszentrum Heizenholz provides socio-pedagogical and family-supplementary services. In seven residential groups, a family training program, and two socio-pedagogical day groups (Tageswohnen FEST), children and adolescents are cared for and their parents are supported in their tasks. We are an innovative and flexible institution for which exchange, participation, and further training are a matter of course.

From now on (or by arrangement), we offer the following position in our external residential group Alpha in the city of Zürich:

Internship 80 % (Pre- or School Internship) ##

• Supporting adolescents individually in managing everyday life and developing independence
• Comprehensive insight into the work of a residential group in the stationary sector
• Confronting one's own values, stances, and attitudes
• Implementation of your own project with the adolescents

• Opportunities to actively participate to expand your own professional skills (school internship) or to test suitability for the profession (pre-internship)

What you bring with you ###

• Minimum age 24 years
• Interest in getting to know a field of work with 24-hour operation in order to gain insights for personal future planning.
• Readiness and ability to empathize with the way of life of other people
• Joy in working with young people in challenging situations
