Network & Security Engineer (Specialist Fortinet)

On behalf of our client, a leading trading company in its industry with headquarters in Zürich (City), we are looking for, effective immediately or by agreement, a Network & Security Engineer (Specialist Fortinet) # In this demanding position, together with your team, you are responsible for the maintenance and administration as well as the engineering of the national and international networks (the network devices are based exclusively on Cisco). You undertake tasks in the areas of network security and network performance and operate these with the support of the network provider. The main task is network security (firewall (Fortinet/Fortigate), web proxy, email security (including Seppmail and Cisco), etc.). You evaluate, plan, and carry out upgrades (project consulting for the provider) and create/update system documentation. Furthermore, you undertake tasks in the area of 2nd and 3rd level support (network specific) and support the specialist departments with technical questions. Experience in the areas of firewall/security with Fortinet is an important prerequisite for this role. You communicate with style in German as well as fluently in English (spoken and written).
