Authority Member KESB, 80-100 %

As of 1 June 2027, a position as an authority member, Social Work department, will become available with us. For this interesting and demanding position, we are looking for a skilled personality with a tertiary degree in Social Work, preferably with experience in a child and adult protection authority.

Tasks ##

• You lead proceedings, conduct investigations and hearings in child and adult protection, and have supervision over the ongoing child and adult protection measures of your authority department.
• You draft decisions in individual responsibility and prepare collegial decisions.
• You lead an authority department professionally and personally.
• You participate in the further development of the KESB in organizational and conceptual matters.
• You maintain and expand your network with specialist agencies, institutions and partner organizations and contribute to a positive image of the KESB in the population through your professional manner.

Profile ##

• Tertiary degree in Social Work with several years of professional and leadership experience, ideally at a KESB.
• Interest and motivation for interdisciplinary cooperation with experts from the fields of law and psychology.
• Enjoyment in leading an authority department consisting of a team of legal professionals and an authority secretariat
• High empathy as well as no hesitation when dealing with people in all stages of life.
• Trustworthy, communicative, loyal and assertive
