Around 300 apprentices complete their training with us in 25 different professions. Of these, around 110 apprentices are in KV training.

The apprenticeship ###

Commercial training takes place in a rotation system with an annual change. This gives you the opportunity to get to know different departments, areas of responsibility, and workplace cultures of the Kanton Zürich. During your training, you will go through various organizational units, such as:

• Berufsberatungen (biz)
• Berufs- und Fachhochschulen / Universität Zürich / Pädagogische Hochschule
• Gerichte / Staatsanwaltschaften
• Kinder- und Jugendhilfezentren (kjz)
• Steueramt, Sozialamt und Migrationsamt
• Strassenverkehrsämter and many others...

During your training, you will get to know diverse administrative and organizational tasks and undertake them independently. These include, among other things, providing telephone information, advising customers at the counter, and organizing events. In the intercompany courses of the public administration industry, you will acquire the necessary action competencies, which you can subsequently develop further in your daily work, in projects, and at events.

The requirements ###

For the three-year basic training as Kauffrau/Kaufmann EFZ, we expect good academic performance at the highest school level. You are a strong communicator and enjoy contact with people. In addition, you have very good oral and written German skills. Openness to new things, willingness to learn, and reliability complete your profile.
With very good academic performance, you also have the opportunity to complete the Berufsmaturität in combination with the three-year basic training as Kauffrau/Kaufmann EFZ.
