For our client, an established Swiss bank, we are looking for an experienced specialist for operational support in the procurement and management of financial market data.

Operational Buyer Financial Market Data

Job description:

• Operational processing of contracts, orders, and cancellations with market data providers and exchanges
• Verification of market data invoices and reconciliation with internal systems
• Clarification of price, quantity, and billing discrepancies with providers
• Advising internal users on the selection of terminals, data feeds, and APIs
• Maintenance of the market data inventory as well as management of user rights and access in InfoMatch
• Management of relationships with data providers
• Preparation and support in contract and price negotiations
• Monitoring of complex licensing regulations
• Preparation and support of external audits by exchanges and data providers
• Creation of data and cost analyses in Excel

Requirements:

• At least three to five years of sound experience in procurement or the commercial management of financial market data
• Experience at a bank, another financial institution, or a market data provider
• Sound knowledge of the financial market data landscape, for example Bloomberg, LSEG/Refinitiv, FactSet, SIX Financial Information, or Morningstar
• Good understanding of pricing models as well as exchange and data licensing rights
• Practical knowledge of InfoMatch
• Advanced Excel skills and strong affinity for numbers
• Structured, reliable, and independent way of working
• Degree in economics or business informatics or a comparable commercial education with relevant professional experience
• Very good German and English skills
