Operations Worker Bio-waste (temporary 6 months)

Tasks: • You are responsible for collecting and loading bio-waste in the City of Zürich, which is provided in containers at the roadside and in front of properties. • You stand at the back of a waste collection vehicle in all weather conditions, empty collection containers, and instruct your driver if necessary. • If required, you also work in other departments of logistics. • If required, you perform weekend and night shifts (e.g., during special events) Profile: • Reliability, flawless interaction within the team as well as with customers, good German skills (level B1) as well as openness towards other cultures and new things • Very good physical condition and willingness to work outdoors in all weather • Flexibility during special events as well as during assignments in other logistics teams • Completed training in the manual/technical field (level EBA) • Driving license category B is an advantage We offer: • Generous mobility contribution • Meal allowance • Wage equality • Above-average social benefits • Careful induction into your activity • A modern, down-to-earth, and future-oriented working environment • Maternity leave: 16 weeks paid • Paternity leave: 20 paid days • Three days of care for your sick child without deduction from vacation • Development opportunities through the municipal educational offering • ERZ Sportclub Interested?
