DevOps Engineer Kubernetes & Managed Services

Your future begins here # In our agile DevOps team, you will develop and operate a modern Kubernetes-based platform as well as resilient services running on it, such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL and Kafka, for our B2B customers. You will take responsibility for the construction, lifecycle and reliable operation of this platform and its services. In doing so, you rely on automation, GitOps and tools from the CNCF landscape. With your passion for container technologies and your joy in collaborating with our customers, you will bring Swisscom and our B2B services to the next level. Highlights • Construction, operation and continuous further development of our Kubernetes platform and the Managed Services offered on it • Ensuring high availability, scalability and resilience through robust architecture and automation • Use of Swisscom Private Cloud as well as Public Clouds for the provision of the platform and services • Use and management of CNCF tools for logging, monitoring, backup, RBAC, security and other infrastructure components Your Skills • Very good knowledge of Kubernetes (CKA or CKAD an advantage) and with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ArgoCD, Velero, Cilium, Kyverno • Experience in the construction and operation of container-based platforms and services • Knowledge in at least one of the technologies: Golang, MongoDB, PostgreSQL or Kafka is an advantage • Independent way of working, teamwork, flexibility and a good understanding of agile and lean working methods • Readiness for on-call duty and residence in Switzerland is a matter of course for you With us, you have the opportunity to work in the office in Zürich and up to three days per week from your home office.
