Arche Betreutes Wohnen offers semi-stationary living space for 64 residents in three residential buildings in the city of Zürich. People with long-term substance abuse and its consequences and/or with a mental illness receive a home with us in a consumption-accepting framework. For the Hohlstrasse residential building with 28 living spaces, we are looking for a social worker: FH/HF or similar from 01. October 2026. The main responsibility in this function is the care and accompaniment of the residents with the goal of promoting self-determination, stabilization in the areas of health, substance abuse, and everyday coping, as well as improving their quality of life. The complex problems of the residents require a high level of social competence, technical knowledge, life experience, resilience, and flexibility from the employees. Your main tasks • Accompaniment and care of the residents as a contact person • Support for residents in all administrative and housing-related matters • Management of client files • Departmental responsibility after consultation (accounting, IT, admin, procurement, IBB, etc.) • Networking with specialist agencies and all involved external agencies • Co-design of our offers Your profile • Completed training in social work FH/HF or a similar profile • Experience in the field of addiction, income management, and social insurance • Knowledge and experience with psychiatric disease patterns • Prejudice-free attitude, empathy, and humor, joy in work • High social competence, mental resilience, and active participation in an appreciative team collaboration • Flair and interest in participating in tasks of the operational infrastructure • Independent working method • An IT affinity is an advantage • Due to team constellation, we prefer a man with the same qualification We offer you • a diverse and responsible range of tasks where thinking and co-design are desired • a value-oriented corporate culture with an open and lively corporate culture • a committed and motivated team • Working hours in day service (40 hours/week) and telephone standby service outside of care hours (around 8 weeks a year) • Attractive employment conditions and further training opportunities as well as supervision If you want to work in an unusual social environment, we look forward to your application by 19.
