The Schweizer Tierschutz STS is the umbrella organization of 70 animal welfare organizations from all linguistic regions of Switzerland and Liechtenstein. As the largest animal welfare organization in Switzerland, we are passionately committed to the welfare of domestic, livestock, wild, and laboratory animals.

Senior Relationship Manager 80-100 %

Your mission: Building and strengthening funding partnerships. In this key position, you combine foundations, corporate fundraising, and major donors in a relationship-oriented portfolio approach. Through professional contact maintenance and the acquisition of new partners, you make a significant contribution to the implementation of our fundraising strategy.

What you can achieve with us:

• Foundation fundraising: You acquire and support foundations, research funding opportunities, and create professional funding requests as well as reports.
• Major Donor Fundraising: Leading within the team, you build up a specific portfolio of private major donors and develop individual retention measures.
• Corporate Fundraising: As a lower priority, you occasionally build corporate partnerships and develop tailor-made cooperation opportunities.
• CRM & Administration: You are co-responsible for the complete documentation of all activities in the CRM system as well as for maintaining your pipeline and planning overviews.
• Departmental networking: You coordinate closely with internal specialist departments and the Head of Fundraising to strategically develop eligible projects and offers.

What you bring with you:

• Experience: You have several years of professional experience in (institutional) fundraising, key account management, partner management, or business development, combined with appropriate training and further education.
• Language skills: You have very good written and oral expression skills in German and can prepare complex content convincingly; additionally, you have good French skills (at least B2 level).
• Networking qualities: You are a strong communicator, have a confident manner, and enjoy building long-term relationships with demanding stakeholders.
• Way of working: Independence, entrepreneurial thinking, and confident handling of CRM systems as well as MS Office (especially Teams, Word, Excel) characterize you.
• Passion: You strongly identify with the goals and values of the Schweizer Tierschutz STS. Knowledge of the Swiss foundation landscape is a big plus.
