Stationary Residential Integration, an offering of the Sozialdepartement of the Stadt Zürich, is a supervised living offer for socially and health-impaired persons who do not want to live abstinently and are not able to fit into a regular home.

For our night shift team, we are looking for a resilient and responsible personality as of 1. December 2026 or by arrangement. The internal job title is Psychosozialer Betreuerin.

We meet people where they stand - with respect, clarity and an attitude that sustains even in difficult situations.

Tasks ##

• You care for our clients with addiction and mental illnesses during the night and monitor their behavior and health status.
• You promote the stabilization of our clients, recognize crisis situations early and act prudently and appropriately to the situation. In addition, you administer reserve medication as required.
• In medical and psychiatric emergencies, you carry out crisis interventions, if necessary with the involvement of third parties (e.g., emergency psychiatry, ambulance service or police).
• You enforce the house rules and ensure safety and a reliable framework during the night.
• You work as a watch presence person in our 365-day operation, work alone during the night shift and can rely on the on-site sleeping on-call service if necessary (approx. 12-16 watch nights per month).

Profile ##

• Degree as Pflegefachperson HF/FH, with experience in psychiatric nursing
• Professional experience in the low-threshold sector as well as dealing with people with addiction diseases or mental impairments
• An independent and self-responsible way of working as well as assertiveness, high social and self-competence and target-group-oriented communication

• A professional and low-threshold working setting: Instead of classic nursing, psychosocial support, stabilization and crisis intervention are at the center. Around 80 people live in our residential offer. The consumption of addictive substances is permitted in the premises.
