Civil Engineer or Building Services Engineer as Team Leader Protective Structures Schutz & Rettung, acting as a service department of the Security Department, unites the professional and militia fire brigades, medical services, and the emergency dispatch center (ELZ) for the emergency numbers 144 and 118. Furthermore, civil protection, fire police, and a training center with an affiliated Higher Vocational School for Rescue Professions belong to the largest rescue organization in Switzerland. Intervention and prevention units protect and rescue people, animals, assets, and the environment around the clock in the city of Zürich, at Zürich Airport, and in the agglomeration.
