Head of Finance Operations & Reporting

We are a leading law firm in the heart of Zürich. Our clientele ranges from listed, globally active companies to start-ups and family-owned businesses. We are looking for a responsible and professionally skilled personality as Head of Finance Operations & Reporting starting in January or by arrangement. Your tasks • Responsibility for the management and continuous optimization of Finance Operations as well as financial processes. • Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as well as meaningful management reporting and cash flow analysis. • Responsibility for the further development and optimization of the ERP/CRM systems Vertec and Abacus as well as finance-related processes, data analytics, and reporting solutions for various business areas. • Ensuring correct mandate billing, efficient fee processes, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. • Leadership, development, and coaching of the internal team as well as close cooperation with partners and the operational specialist departments. • Management of digitalization and automation projects to increase efficiency in the finance and reporting area. Your profile • You have completed training or a degree in the fields of Finance, Economics, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or a comparable field. • You bring at least 10 years of professional experience in Finance Operations, Reporting, and process optimization, as well as at least 5 years of experience in a law firm. • You have sound knowledge in project management (e.g., Six Sigma, ICAgile), Business Process Modeling, and Management Reporting. • You have at least 5 years of experience with Vertec and Abacus, including implementation, customizing, and the optimization of complex billing and financial processes. • You work independently, structured, precisely, and efficiently and are characterized by a high orientation towards quality. • You bring strong advisory competence and a service-oriented attitude. • You think analytically, act solution-oriented, and bring initiative as well as a hands-on mentality. • You have proficient German language skills as well as good written and spoken English skills. Further language skills are an advantage. In this key role, you will take on the professional responsibility for the Finance Operations & Reporting area and independently shape its further development.
