Course Leader for Promotion Courses «Movimiento» - School District Limmattal and Letzi, 5-10 %

In free courses at 19 different locations, Zurich city children and young people with special promotion needs are supported with playful movement landscapes, games and fun to collect movement experiences, build movement competence and self-confidence, and develop a joy of movement. For this, we are looking for qualified and motivated personalities from mid-August onwards. Tasks ## • You accompany a group of around 8 to a maximum of 18 students (1st to 3rd grade, primary school) with a co-leader during a weekly 90-minute lesson • You plan and design an age-appropriate, playful movement program according to the contents of «Movimiento»: balancing, climbing, running, jumping, rolling, swinging, sliding, throwing and catching - all without performance pressure, with plenty of room for discovery and fun • You specifically promote the children's body awareness, coordination, condition and self-confidence - with the goal of motivating them for compulsory sports lessons and encouraging them to regular, independent movement • You ensure a safe and inclusive atmosphere in which every child feels welcome and valued - regardless of their movement competence • You are responsible for the administration of your course: initial contact with parents, keeping attendance lists, managing registrations and cancellations, submitting regular reports to the sports office • Willingness to lead a course until the end of the school year.   For the following courses, qualified and motivated course leaders are being sought: • Movimiento Aemtler (Kr.Nr. 302), every Monday, 15:35 - 17:05, for lower grades (1st-3rd grade), in the sports hall of Aemtler Primar school • Movimiento Altstetterstrasse (Kr.Nr. 710), every Monday, 15:30 - 17:00, for lower grades (1st-3rd grade), in the sports hall of Altstetterstrasse school Profile ## • Enthusiasm for sports and movement and movement promotion • Completed training as a youth and sports leader allround or willingness to complete it • Experience in instructing children and young people in the field of sports • Experience with children with special needs or J+S Handicap training • Organizational talent with high sense of responsibility We offer ## • Meaningful work with children and young people • Part-time job with the opportunity to gain teaching experience at kindergarten and primary level • Content-related support and further training opportunities • Expansion of the scope of work up to 20 percent with unlimited employment possible Apply Apply About us ## The sports office is a department of the school and sports department of the city of Zurich. It is the competence center for sports promotion and provides the sports facilities, including indoor and outdoor pools, to the sports-loving population and clubs. The organization of compulsory swimming lessons and voluntary school sports are also among the core tasks of the sports office. With targeted information, the sports office motivates to more movement and advises and supports sports organizations.
