The Amt für Informatik (AFI) is the IT competence center of the Canton of Zürich. It provides comprehensive services in the area of central IT infrastructure and canton-wide applications for the directorates, authorities, justice, and independent institutions. Tasked with implementing the new Information and Communication Technology (ICT) strategy, the Amt für Informatik accompanies and supports the Canton of Zürich into the digital world.   Meng people, develop services, and help shape the digital future. As Team Leader - Mail & Media - you take responsibility for a specialized team and central communication and collaboration services of the Canton of Zürich. Together with your team, you ensure secure and stable operations, drive new technologies forward, and actively help shape the digital collaboration of the cantonal administration. In addition to providing a robust and stable communication platform based on HCL and Exchange, we also ensure that the room technology in the administration functions reliably. Your tasks: • You lead the Mail & Media team professionally and personally and continuously develop it.  • As Service Owner, you are responsible for central communication and collaboration services of the Canton of Zürich.  • Together with your team, you ensure a secure, stable, and economical operation of the responsible platforms.  • You drive the further development of services, architectures, and processes and implement new technologies in a targeted manner.  • You advise internal customers, develop concepts, and accompany their implementation.  • You manage external service providers, participate in projects, and contribute actively to the strategic further development of the area. Your profile: • Completed studies or comparable training in the field of computer science.  • Several years of experience in the operation and further development of Microsoft and M365 platforms. • Leadership experience or the motivation to take the next career step into a leadership role.  • Knowledge of ITIL and service management processes.  • Knowledge of encryption technologies and secure transmission paths (TCP/ IP) • Interest in cloud technologies, automation, and modern IT architectures.  • Networked thinking, consulting strength, and enjoyment in working with different stakeholders.
