Zürcher Kantonalbank's trading is one of the bank's most vibrant areas with permanent new ideas. Your applications form the technological backbone for the issuance, trading, and platform business for Structured Products - from pricing through to issuance and lifecycle management.

You are responsible for the integration and further development of central trading and issuance platforms as well as the connected systems and interfaces. For this, we are looking for you as a Java/Kotlin Software Engineer with a strong technical profile and interest in trading and Structured Products. In an agile environment, you will take responsibility for business-critical applications, work closely with trading, and continuously develop yourself both professionally and technically.

Your tasks

• Further development of our central backend platforms for pricing, issuance, and lifecycle management of Structured Products
• Collaboration on modern web applications with Angular for internal and external frontends
• Designing, implementing, and further developing resilient backend services and interfaces
• Collaborating with the business departments in the trading of Structured Products to analyze requirements and ensure technically sound implementation
• Participating in the entire lifecycle: from the idea through specification and story development, implementation, and testing to operation according to the principle "You build it, you run it"

Your profile

• Completed higher technical education or further training in the field of computer science
• Several years of practical experience in the conception, design, and development of modern backend applications, ideally in a financial environment
• Very good knowledge of a JVM language, ideally Kotlin, and willingness to develop primarily in Kotlin
• Practical experience in using modern toolchains for software development, CI/CD, and operations
• Experience with or interest in cloud and container technologies
• Experience or strong interest in the area of Structured Products or trading, ideally with practical experience in a trading or derivatives environment
• Enjoyment of business analysis: You sharpen functional requirements together with trading and translate them into viable technical solutions
• Team-oriented personality with a sense of responsibility, who seeks dialogue with the business and communicates well in both German and English
