The Amt für Informatik (AFI) is the IT competence center of the Canton of Zürich. It provides comprehensive services in the area of central IT infrastructure and canton-wide applications for directorates, authorities, justice, and independent institutions. The AFI accompanies the Canton of Zürich on the way to the digital future. The cantonal data platform is a central prerequisite for the digital future of the Canton of Zürich. As Team Leader and Service Owner, you will shape a high-performance team and significantly influence the construction, operation, and further development of this strategically important platform and help shape its future from the beginning. Together with your team, you will develop and operate the central data platform services and create the basis for innovative data solutions in the entire cantonal administration. What awaits you: Responsibility for the construction, further development, and operation of our data platform services. Ensuring stable, secure, and customer-oriented service operations including Service Level Management. Planning, controlling, and implementing projects as well as changes and releases. Coordinating cooperation with specialist departments, architecture, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Building, leading, and further developing a specialized team as well as promoting open and solution-oriented cooperation. Controlling budget, costs, and service quality as well as continuously optimizing our services. Helping to shape the digital transformation of the Canton of Zürich through the expansion of modern data platform services. What you bring with you: Master's degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field of study. Several years of experience in leadership as well as in the construction and further development of teams. Sound professional experience in IT service and application management of complex platforms or business services. Good understanding of data platforms, cloud architectures, and modern IT operating models. Decisiveness and the ability to create structures and successfully bring different interests together. Strong communication and networking competence with experience in managing external service providers and stakeholders.
