System Engineer Networking & Linux

Job Description:

• Identifying, creating, and maintaining realistic test data; in-house and at the customer's site on-site
• Structuring, executing, and documenting test cases with technical and analytical understanding
• Analyzing, tracking, and precisely documenting bugs
• Securing, preparing, and structuring all relevant test data, results, and protocols
• Organizing and optimizing the entire test environment for efficient and transparent processes

Your Profile:

• Technical degree (FH/HF) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or comparable disciplines
• Several years of experience in software testing, methodological competence (ISTQB, IREB, ITIL, Hermes, Scrum Master) as well as Python test automation; C# / C++ an advantage
• Sound network and Linux know-how (Switching, Routing, Overlay/Underlay, IPv4/IPv6) and confident use of Linux as a test and network platform
• Routine handling of CI/CD tools and virtualization (GitLab, Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Hypervisor technologies) including construction and maintenance of pipelines
• Solution-oriented, communicative, and open-minded personality with a strong team spirit; German as a native language and good English skills in spoken/written; regional willingness to travel for Zürich and Frauenfeld
• CH citizenship required (due to the security-relevant activity) as well as an irreproachable reputation and high discretion
