What you will do

• Provision and management of the entire service area during caterings
• Technical and personnel leadership of temporary staff during events
• Ensuring compliance with internal service and quality standards
• Contact person for guests during events
• Completion of daily tasks such as delivery preparations as well as setup, breakdown and return of caterings

What you bring with you

• Completed training in gastronomy or equivalent professional experience
• High resilience and enjoyment of a dynamic working environment
• Very good German skills (oral and written) as well as good English skills are an advantage
• Driver's license category B - mandatory
• Communicative and open personality with enjoyment of guest contact and teamwork

Your place of work

In the catering department of the food market at the ETH Hönggerberg we look after a versatile range of events. This ranges from small coffee breaks to festive master celebrations with up to 500 guests. Your deployment takes place mainly on the Campus Hönggerberg, but also includes events in various annex buildings. With professional service, flexibility and a high quality standard, we ensure that every event becomes a successful experience for our guests.
The working hours are based on the duty roster and are generally from Monday to Friday. For special occasions, occasional assignments on weekends may occur.
