For one of our clients in the energy sector, we are looking for an experienced telecom hardware engineer, responsible for the technical implementation of new construction and renovation projects. Your main tasks • Technical support and hardware engineering of telecommunications and telemanagement infrastructures • Global hardware design for new constructions and renovations (plans, manufacturing documents and documentation according to internal guidelines) • Maintenance and development of system documentation • Support during the operating phase (level 1 and level 2 support) for fault analysis • Ensure implementation in accordance with the occupational safety, health and environmental protection management system Your profile • Completed training as an electrotechnician, electrical planner, electrical fitter or equivalent (e.g. HF technician in electrotechnics) • 2 to 3 years of professional experience in hardware design in the field of telecommunications • Good knowledge of telecommunications and power transmission and distribution systems • Proficiency in Visio, Word, Excel as well as FNT Command tools • Structured, conceptual and solution-oriented way of working • Ability to clearly present complex technical subjects and to lead working groups in a targeted manner • Flexible, reliable personality capable of working in a team • Languages: German (native language), French or Italian (basic knowledge desired), English (basic knowledge) • Proficiency in SharePoint, FNT Command and Microsoft Office What we offer • Stable and long-term project mission at a leader in the Swiss energy sector • Varied and technically demanding tasks • Possibility of professional development in a future-oriented environment Start date: from October / November 2026 Working time: 100% Workplace: Zurich region / canton of Aargau Please send us your application documents electronically to jobs@kurath.ch
